How we implement environmental controls.
Environmental planning is integral to the ACI Management System and enhances our mission to provide innovative, quality, and customer-specific solutions with the added accountability to the environment. ACI develops environmental targets, objectives and plans encouraging best management practices. To implement and manage these plans, ACI establishes operational controls for the collection, storage and disposal of significant aspects preventing hazardous waste from adversely affecting the air, water, and land around us to:
- Remain environmentally responsible
- Streamline operations through energy conservation and efficiency, and reduction in use of hazardous materials and generation of hazardous wastes;
- Maintain compliance with environmental laws and regulations;
- Reduce environmental liability;
- Ensure procedures are properly documented, communicated and retained; and
- Continually improve initiatives; all environmental consideration for product and service by the team is verified through subsequent monitoring and measuring through the Improvement and Internal Audit Processes.
ACI’s management system is registered through National Quality Assurance (NQA). View ACI’s ISO 14001:2004 certificate.
